THE 5 Must Have Tools for beginner DIYers

Maybe you’ve been scrolling through reels or tiktoks and seen a room transform and thought “I could do that!” or maybe you find yourself with a fixer upper in need of some TLC but the only thing stopping you is the daunting thought of where to begin. 

But you guys. It is so simple to get started and you can do it! Honestly the hardest part of DIYing is having the correct tools. You don’t need to have a full blown workshop to start DIYing but you do need these 5 tools. Which thanks to holiday savings you can get all of them for under $500 at Walmart, linked below and on my Like to Know It.

POWER DRILL

This tool is so versatile in DIY. An absolute staple you can utilize this tool for home decor such as hanging picture frames and even building cabinets.

Project Ideas: Hanging Picture Frames or coat racks. Building Cabinets, bookshelves , Corner Desk, Bathroom Renovation, Playhouse and so much more!

CIRCULAR SAW

A Circular saw is great option if you don’t have a miter saw or don’t have a garage/workshop space, it can do the same things as a miter saw and a table saw.

BRAD NAILER

This tool I use in 85% of my DIY projects from woodworking to hangin shipload and beyond.

This tool is used to joint boards together. It makes building SO seamless and easy!

ORBITAL SANDER

You will always need to sand your projects whether you’re woodworking or painting something, it’s a great tool to have on hand!
