While this was super last minute we had been saving and planning for a trip like this for a while now. So when everything lined up so well to take 5 days and go on a trip for Riley’s birthday birthday and to reconnect as husband and wife.

We stayed in the Junior Suite with a Partial Ocean View. We booked our stay with a travel agent and was able to save money and not stress about our plans knowing someone else was taking care of us.

Our favorite restaurant was by far the steakhouse which we discovered unfortunately on our last night there. So be sure to hit that up as much as possible when you go. But you honestly can’t go wrong as even the buffet was AMAZING!
Our Why
This Trip was a little getaway for Riley’s birthday, but also to take time to “date” each other bc we haven’t been great at keeping up on date nights, we also had a $500 voucher expiring from a cancelled Mexico trip.
It is so important to us to continue to date each other and grow together. We strongly believe that dating shouldn’t end when you get married. It’s important to slow down and be present with each other in this fast paced season of our lives.
